Victor Wooten putting down some cool music ideas that every musician can apply!
1. Try different ways to play the same thing - it will trigger your creativity in different ways.
2. Take inspiration from other musicians but also completely different areas of life (he mentions golf, martial arts, and drumming)
3. Take your fundamentals, like scales or any basic exercise, and make it GROOVE.
4. Finally, this is a top specifically for string players: practice your scale patterns in every position, starting first, then second, then third, etc.
