Meet our rock band coach, Mr. Joseph Devita.

Joe is a graduate of The Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, as well as the New School University Jazz Program and has been teaching music (guitar, bass, drums, piano and coaching rock bands) for 30 years. He has performed throughout the US in groups and as a solo artists. His music has been featured on NPR BBC Radio, as well as radio and podcasts internationally.

Old Towne Music is now accepting audition videos for our student Rock Bands & OTM Records

Rock Band:
We are accepting audition videos for guitarists, bass players, keyboard players, drummers and singers ages 12-18.

All musicians must have 2 years experience with their primary instrument and will be placed in bands according to age and skill level.

Submit audition videos (30-60 second video will be enough) to [email protected] no later than July 25th

OTM Records
A little back story. I started this student record label as a mentorship program for young aspiring solo artists back in 2017 and we had several young artists. Then Covid happened.

Well, it's time to bring it back AND we're bringing it back BIGGER and BETTER! I have put together an amazing team of professionals that are ready to take you to the next level.

We are looking for 5 solo musicians/sing-songwriters ages 13-20. All singers must be able to play either guitar or piano. These students will have 1 hour of weekly private coaching with our trained professionals as well as training in songwriting and audio recording. In addition to this professional training our artists will have scheduled performances and access to our recording studio.

Miss Katelynn just graduation from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelors in Music in piano performance and has been accepted in the online Masters program of her choice.

Miss Katelynn is our newest piano instructor and we are very proud that she has joined our team. She is currently accepting new piano students of all skill levels on Mondays and Fridays and her spots are filling up fast.
