At GLiTR one of our passions is teaching girls how to successfully navigate obstacles not just on the track but also in life. When this young rider found out that the race she planned on registering for this coming weekend will not be on the smaller track that she's been practicing hard on but on the much bigger track, self-defeat set in. Before she made the decision to not register, we wanted her to make an informed decision and actually ride the big track. Friday evening she went out to Last Chance Raceway to ride, but before getting on the big track, she needed her confidence boosted by ripping around the small track. Not only did riding a familiar track bring a smile to her face, but two younger girls cheered her on and told her how awesome she was. Tom's (Poet Motorcycles) granddaughters made her day and gave her the boost she needed to try the big track. She rode the big track and plans on racing on it this weekend. THIS IS THE HEART OF GLiTR - cheering each other on and teaching girls how to navigate life (and the track).

Girls Live to Race (GLiTR) is an all girls dirt bike riding/racing organization located in Helena, MT focused on having fun, making memories, and riding within a dirt bike-loving community. Members can participate in Motocross or Cross-country riding and racing. Monthly membership includes three coach-led training sessions of your choice per month at Last Chance Raceway and a swag bag.
