I'm equally excited to introduce you to Kristen Brewer our other new teacher in the two-year-old classroom!

Kristen Brewer lives in Helena, AL with her husband and three daughters. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and has worked with children throughout her life. She most recently taught two-year-olds at a mother’s day out. Kristen is an active member at The Church at Old Town serving in the kids' ministry. In her free time, Kristen loves to craft, hike, bake, and spend time with her family. She is excited to teach at The Bridge Preschool.

I am excited to introduce you to one of our new teachers in the two-year-old class, DiAnn Root!

DiAnn has lived in Helena for the past three years with her husband, Bobby, and two dogs. They have two grown children and three grandchildren and are members of Christ
Community Church. DiAnn previously worked as a camp counselor and preschool teacher before spending 30 years in the corporate world. In 2025 she returned to what
she loves most , working with children and helping nurture their growth both educationally and spiritually, as a substitute teacher at The Bridge Preschool. She is thrilled to return to The Bridge as a teacher in the 2’s classroom. In her spare time, DiAnn enjoys cooking, crafting and reading.

Our new director, Sara, has been on staff at The Bridge Preschool since 2022. She is passionate about creating a safe, caring environment where children feel loved, known and supported. She holds a degree in Elementary Education and has served children in a variety of roles for more than 25 years, including teaching in the 4K classroom since the school’s founding in 2022 and homeschooling her children for 11 years. She and her husband have four children and a playful dog. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing games, reading and watching British television. Sara is a gift to the preschool and we are excited she is taking on this new role!

We have exciting news for our four year olds! Mrs. Bentley and Mrs. Stephanie (who have been with The Bridge since the beginning of the program) are going to be our 4K teachers this fall. Both are education majors and have many years experience in the classroom! We are so blessed to have such amazing teachers!
