Today was another unforgettable Hometown Heroes adventure at Heflin Summer Camp! 🚛🦺💚

A huge THANK YOU to the City of Heflin Street Department and the City of Heflin for spending time with our campers and giving them an up-close look at the amazing equipment that helps keep our community running every day. From the garbage truck and dump truck to the grappler truck and so much more, our campers couldn’t stop smiling as they climbed aboard, asked questions, and discovered what it takes to keep Heflin clean, safe, and beautiful.

More importantly, they learned about the hardworking people behind the trucks—the men and women whose dedication helps make Heflin the very best place to be a kid.

We are so grateful for your time, your service, and your hearts for our community.

Today our campers got to experience more than just the amazing equipment from the City of Heflin Street Department—they got to meet the hardworking people who help keep our community beautiful, safe, and running smoothly every single day.

Teaching children to love Heflin starts with helping them understand the dedication, teamwork, and pride that go into making our hometown such a wonderful place to live. We are so thankful for the Street Department taking time to share their work and inspire our campers.

And let’s just say…we might all be seeing John Deere green after today! 💚🚜

A big THANK YOU to the City of Heflin for taking the time to show our campers some super cool equipment!
Our campers had an amazing time learning about and exploring some of the incredible equipment that helps keep our city running every day. From the trash truck and grappling truck to the dump truck and tractors, the kids loved seeing everything up close, asking questions, and learning how each piece of equipment serves our community.
We are so grateful for your kindness, your willingness to invest in our children, and for giving them an experience they'll remember forever!Thank you for all you do to serve the City of Heflin and for helping make our Summer Camp so much fun. We truly appreciate you all! 💙🚜🚛

Today our campers had an absolute blast cooling off under the spray of the Heflin Fire Department’s fire truck! There were smiles, laughter, squeals, and plenty of soaked campers making unforgettable summer memories.

A huge THANK YOU to our hometown heroes at the Heflin Fire Department for taking time to make this day so special. Your kindness, community spirit, and willingness to serve our campers mean more than words can say.
