We had a complete whirlwind weekend at CHSA Finals!! Congratulations to our amazing riders and horses on a great showing all around. We are so immensely proud of you all for trying your absolute hardest and giving it your all!

✨ Rosie Scavotto and ABF’s Gonzo Z finished 10th in the 2’ Training Hunter Final! This pair has grown so much together, and we cannot wait to see where they go.

✨ Olivia Jahaly and ABF’s Gonzo Z finished 3rd in the 2’6” Training Hunter Final and 4th in the Children’s Eq Final! This pair got better and better through the whole weekend! We love this horse so much.

✨ Taryn Varney and Casstalino finished 8th in a competitive Children’s Eq Final, including an impressive score of 84 in the flat test. We are so proud of this pair’s resilience. Their progress as a team in this past year has been so impressive to watch.

✨ Caydence Harry and Narcos Me finished 5th out of a large group in the Pre-Children’s Eq Final and 9th in the 2’ Hunter Derby. This pair has grown so much in the past year that they have been together!

✨ Perry Brocuglio and HBS’s Princess Daisy made their Finals debut in the leadline!! This pair was absolutely adorable - thanks to Holly Rebello for letting us borrow Daisy!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a horse show at The Pines! First off, we need to give a huge thanks to Tim Farr for making a quick repair to our trailer in the morning so that we could arrive on time - it always helps to have someone so handy around! Our horses and riders then went on to compete in stellar fashion. Our results:

Olivia Jahaly and Gonzo Z had an amazing show taking Champion in a large competitive group of 2’6 Training Hunters. Gonzo loves the grass! Olivia also finished qualifying for the CHSA Children’s Medal.

Tessa Ge**er and Illinois Z showed great progress with strong ribbons in a large and solid group of riders in the Pre-Children’s Equitation Division. They earned two third place and two fourth place finishes with some beautiful rounds.

GKS Equestrian had another fun day of friends and horseshowing on Saturday at Windcrest Farm! Congrats to the following riders and their wonderful horses:

Olivia Jahaly and Gonzo Z had a stellar day earning Champion in the 2’6” Training Hunters and winning the CHSA Children’s Medal.

Rosie Scavotto also piloted Gonzo Z to a Reserve Championship in the 2’ Training Hunters. We just love this horse! Many thanks to owner Brooke Farr for letting our riders enjoy and learn from him.

Finally, Taryn Varney and her own Casstalino had another successful day in the Children’s Equitation division, garnering 1, 2, and 3 in strong company. Taryn, who was already qualified for the JA and SA medals, was a great sport and filled for some other riders. This pair is going places!

Most importantly, it was so refreshing to see our riders have a fun, relaxed day of hanging out together and enjoying each other’s company. The memories that these kids are creating will last a lifetime!

We had a fantastic Saturday at the Pines this weekend! What a beautiful day for a horse show.

✨ Tessa Ge**er and Illinois Z had a phenomenal day, winning all her fences class and pinning 2nd on the flat to finish Champion in the Pre-Children’s Equitation! This pair has come so far.

✨ Taryn Varney and her own Casstalino continue to rock the Children’s Equitation, finishing Reserve Champion in the division and 1st in the CHSA Medal!

Mother Nature thought she would scare us away Saturday with some nasty weather but we showed her what our kids are made of! GKS Equestrian had a fabulous day with great horses and friends and each of our riders showed great progress and results. It’s so rewarding when the hard work pays off!

Rosie Scavotto and Gonzo Z started us off in the chilly rain with some strong trips in the 2’ Training Hunters. Their performance included a 1st place in the under saddle class and earned them a Reserve Champion ribbon in a big group of horses!

Caydence Harry and Narcos Me had their best trips of the season so far in the Pre-Children’s Equitation and came home with the Reserve Champion tricolor!

We ended the day in the sun with Taryn Varney and Casstalino earning the Reserve Championship in an extremely competitive Children’s/Mod Adult combined Equitation Division. This pair is on a great path forward!

Thanks so much to Windcrest Farm for hosting a great horse show on Saturday! We had such a wonderful day - we couldn’t do any of it without our extraordinary horses and our endlessly supportive and kind group of riders and parents ❤️

✨ Rosie Scavotto and Gonzo Z made their 2’ debut to finish Reserve Champion in the 2’ Training Hunters!

✨ Caydence Harry and Narcos Me had great trips in the Pre-Children’s Eq including a 1st in the Eq Flat and 1st in the CHSA Medal!

✨ Taryn Varney and Casstalino had a clean sweep of the Children’s Equitation division to finish Champion and were 2nd in the CHJA Children’s Medal to qualify for finals.

✨ Olivia Jahaly made her 2’6” debut aboard Gonzo Z to finish Champion in the 2’6” Training Hunters!
