Capps Elementary School

Today we had our 1st quarter rewards. Capps students received tokens to redeem books from our book machine. Our fifth grade Golden Mustang Representatives showed leadership by gathering students from classrooms for rewards.

Students earned tokens for exceeding their AR goals, Million Word Readers, Teacher's Choice, Principal's Choice, modeling Golden Mustang Behavior, and Perfect Attendance! Congratulations to Marlee Tenney, our first million word reader of this school year!

Some students even found Golden Tickets hiding in their books which they could redeem for a prize of their choice! We know these students will enjoy reading these books. 📚

😎🎨 September Art Club: Sunglass Selfies! 🎨😎
Our Art Club students had fun getting creative with “Sunglass Selfies” this month!

Students created colorful self-portraits and filled the lenses of their sunglasses with drawings representing their favorite things, hobbies, interests, and activities. Around the outside of their selfies, they added positive words that describe themselves, encouraging students to celebrate what makes each of them unique and special. ❤️

What a fun way to combine creativity, self-expression, and positive self-esteem! We love seeing our students’ personalities shine through their artwork! 🌟🕶️🎨
