Current 6th and 7th grade students will need to turn in their Course Selection form to the Middle School office ASAP. These forms must be turned in so that we can schedule classes for next year. Please remember the last day of school is Monday, May 23rd.

Current 6th-11th grade students interested in participating in volleyball next year will need to be at practice tomorrow, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week from 3:30-5:00 in the Panther Den.

The Heber Springs Middle School Talent Show will be held on Thursday, May 19th, at 1:00pm in the Performing Arts Center. Everyone is invited to attend...please bring 1 non-perishable food item for entry.

Hayden Andrews is a 7th Grader here at Heber Springs Middle School and raced at the Memphis International Speedway for the Annual Super Chevy Show back in April with over 20 cars in the competition. Reaching top speeds of 82mph and times of 7.92 seconds in the 1/8 mile race, Hayden made it to the 5th round of competition and finished 6th overall. Congratulations to this speedster!

Parent Night for INCOMING 6th Graders is this Tuesday, 5pm, at HSMS! Come by and take a quick tour of the school, meet the 6th Grade teachers, and find out some important information for next year! SEE YOU TUESDAY!

High School and 8th Grade Esports fall season is in full swing! This is our first year to add on 8th Grade Esports and they are playing Overwatch 2. High School Esports is still rocking it, playing Mario Kart 8.

6th Grade Science -
Looking at different plant and animal cells through the microscope and taking notes of our observations. And creating models to represent cells!

6th Grade Science-
Cell Membrane Bubble Lab - 6th graders were able to learn about how cell membranes are fluid, flexible, can self-repair, how small particles can pass through and large ones have difficulty passing through the cell membrane.

Mrs. Tuggle is working on several ways to make learning about cells fun! Expect more cool labs coming soon!!
