Term 1 midterm is Friday, September 11, so now’s the time to check those grades, turn in missing work, and master those essential skills/standards. Remember that your teachers are there to help you and SOAR time is a great way to get extra support or learning. 💪💙

🚗 Ready to roll with the school year?

Don’t park your questions—check out the graphics for everything you need to know about parking passes, rules, and policies. Drive smart, park right, and make this year a smooth ride! Make sure that you purchase your passes this week.

The parking lot will be labeled with faculty, cool to care, visitor, and drivers ed starting Monday.

Students, when you choose to park in one of these spots, you are choosing a parking violation.

Starting Monday August 24th parking violations will be issued.

Welcome to a new school year and, for many of us, the exciting beginning of a brand-new school! We are thrilled to welcome our students and families and appreciate your partnership as we begin this new chapter together.

As we start the school year, we want to make sure everyone arrives and leaves campus safely and efficiently. Please review the attached drop-off procedures carefully and share them with anyone who may be dropping off your student.

These procedures are designed to help us:
Keep students safe as they arrive on campus
Keep traffic moving safely and efficiently
Reduce congestion around the school
Ensure students are dropped off in designated areas
Help our staff provide a safe and organized arrival experience for everyone.

We know that new routines can take a little time to learn. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and attention to these procedures during the first few weeks of school.

Most importantly, thank you for helping us create a safe environment for all of our students. We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to partnering with you to make this a successful start to the school year!

At Back-to-School Night, we handed the mic to our students and asked them what they would say to someone starting a new school year.

Sometimes the best advice doesn’t come from adults. Sometimes it comes from the person sitting next to you in class, walking the same hallways, and figuring things out right alongside you.

Take a listen. You might hear something you needed to hear as you prepare for our inaugural year.

Every great school starts with great people—and a team ready to lead the way! 💙🦅 Our Administration team, including our Athletic Director, works together to support students, staff, families, academics, activities, and athletics while building a school culture where every Riverhawk can find their place.

From the classroom to the court, field, stage, and beyond, this team is helping set the tone for what it means to be a Riverhawk: work hard, get involved, support one another, and take pride in our school.

As we kick off Deer Creek’s inaugural year, they’re excited to help create the traditions, opportunities, and school spirit that will make DCHS feel like home.
