Staff Highlight— Mateo Garattoni!

We are so thrilled to have Mateo on our faculty this year! Mateo is currently a principal dancer with the Metropolitan Ballet, Utah county’s professional ballet company. Not only is Mateo a wonderful dancer, he provides relevant and technical instruction for our students and his classes are so fun. Our dancers have really enjoyed learning from him this year!

Staff highlight— Ms. Jenny!

We are so lucky to have Jenny Wilson on our team! If you’ve ever taken a class with her you know how her fierce energy is contagious and inspiring 💪 Jenny’s passion for creating and teaching shows up in many ways inside and outside the studio. In addition to her classes at the Refinery, she’s a certified Werq instructor and choreographer and she teaches classes around the valley!

What a wonderful and needed fall break we’re having. We hope yours has been restful and rejuvenating! 💙

We also can’t wait to see you in a few days to get back to work dancers! We have the Epic Convention coming up this weekend for company dancers and Nutcracker rehearsals and classes starting up again.

Beautiful and amazing things come from dedication and intentional practice! Let’s have some amazing rehearsals these next few weeks💙

Have a wonderful Fall Break dancers! Rest and reflection is so important!

Make sure to take care of your bodies over the break. Sleep and gentle exercise and stretching help us stay healthy in our off time.

Take this time to rejuvenate by connecting with friends and family!

Reflect on what you’re learning and how you are feeling and make notes of what is working in your day-to-day and what isn’t:) ❤️

Staff Highlight—Ms. Karlie!

We are so excited to welcome Karlie Lunt to our team! Karlie is a dancer turned yoga practicer.🧘‍♀️ She will be teaching yoga every other week switching off with Ms. Sharon who will be teaching Pilates. We can’t wait for you to get to know her better and for our dancers to feel the benefit of yoga both physically and emotionally!
