If you have kids interested in the fall English Survey or German classes, please fill out the following form. Classes will begin on September 8 at my house.

I need at least 5 in each class, so please register ASAP. I'd like to let everyone know if the classes are a go by August 31.

Ages for English class are 12-18 and for the German class 10-18.

Hi friends! Just wanted to let you know I'm offering an English survey course for kids 12-17 on Thursdays from 9:30-10:20 at my house and a beginning/conversational German class from 10:30-11:30 on Thursdays for kids of all ages. The English class will be a combination of a creative writing/book club/general English elements (some structure, analysis, literary elements, etc.). Cost will be $225/semester and we will go from second week in September to the second week in December.

I’m ironing out a final schedule for this fall and I’ve been out of the country, but I will be offering an English/creative writing/book club class and a beginning German class. Times will be somewhere in the 9:30-11:30 spot in Wednesdays and Thursdays. Excited for a new year!

Hey all! Do you have a teenager who homeschools, but would like a bit more social learning? I'm starting to plan for next year and am wondering what the needs are?
I teach weekly classes in my home for secondary students (13-18). I love teaching (but also love being home with my little) and am endorsed in English, social studies, and German. I've also taught ACT prep with WHS and BYU and am currently training with a friend who developed a great curriculum and has had a lot of success.
It is a pretty relaxed atmosphere (we literally meet at my kitchen table and in my living room) and my hope is that they will learn because they love it - that means lots of peer interaction, feedback and practice, but no grades.

I am a licensed educator with over 12 years experience in grades 9-12. I have endorsements in social studies, English, and German and have taught a range of subjects, including creative writing, geography, law, current events, English, German, US and world history, and government.
I began homeschooling my third grade son in the Fall of 2020 and have loved our journey as we explore and learn in a less linear way, without the pressures and stresses of conventional education and classrooms. In this way, we have been able to rekindle a curiosity that had been buried for my kiddo.
I love teaching and working with kids and am excited to foster that same excitement for learning with others. I love to have a range of ages in each class and the casual and comfortable atmosphere being in my home affords.
