🍕❤️ Pizza Transformation Day! ❤️🍕

What a pizza-perfect way to kick off fall break! 🍂 Our kindergartners transformed into little pizza chefs as we explored shapes by creating our very own shape pizzas, went on a pizza-themed Write the Room adventure, and enjoyed a fun pizza read-aloud! 📚🍕 We loved combining learning, creativity, and a little extra cheesy fun before our fall break! 🧀✨

Ms. Samantha’s friends have been having so much fun playing learning games during circle time! 💕 These games make learning interactive, exciting, and hands on while helping us practice important skills like counting, letters, colors, shapes, memory, listening, and taking turns.
The best part is seeing their little faces light up when they get an answer right or cheer their friends on! 🥰✨ They don’t even realize just how much they’re learning because they’re having SO much fun!
We love making learning a fun part of our day! 🌈🧠💛

🎨❤️ These kids LOVE ART! ❤️🎨

One thing about this class—they are always excited when I tell them we have an art project planned! 🥰 Give them some paint, glue, scissors, or anything they can create with, and they are ALL IN!

This week, during our Community Helpers unit and National Fire Prevention Week, we learned all about firefighters and the important job they do to keep our communities safe. 🚒🔥🧑‍🚒

For our art project, the kids created their own fire scenes using red, orange, and yellow paint to make bright, swirling flames. Then they added a firefighter spraying water to put the fire out! 💦🔥 I absolutely LOVE that even though everyone started with the same materials, every finished project looks completely different. Their little personalities always find a way to come through! ❤️

And while they think they’re just painting, they’re also strengthening fine-motor skills, exploring colors and textures, building vocabulary, making creative choices, and connecting what we’ve learned to something they can see and create.

Art days are definitely happy days in PK/APK! 🎨🥰

Today, we created a fun Candy Corn Math Facts family craft! 🍬🌽➕ Our students practiced their math facts while creating their candy corn craft, and of course, we enjoyed a little candy corn along the way! It was a fun and sweet way to practice math! ❤️

🇺🇸 Learning About Presidents! 🇺🇸

Today in Social Studies, we began our journey through the presidents of the United States! Today we learned about George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson and talked about their important roles in our country’s early history. 🇺🇸

To make our learning hands-on, we created our very own George Washington paper plate masks! 🎨👑

Our little historians had so much fun learning about the presidents while bringing history to life! ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Social Studies Today! 🇺🇸

Today we learned about George Washington, our first president! We learned how he led the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, which helped our country win its freedom from England. We also learned that George Washington was known for being honest and trustworthy. ❤️💙
