Welcome to our newest HUSD students! 🐾✨

This week, our incoming HES TK and Kindergarten students will attend Summer Bridge right here at HES. It’s a wonderful chance for them to meet their teachers, make new friends, and ease those first-day jitters.

We are so proud of our littlest Greyhound puppies as they show courage on this next big step! We can't wait to see all that you'll achieve. 💙🐶

💙 Building Stronger, More Resilient Families

The Healdsburg Police Department is proud to partner with the Child Parent Institute (CPI) and Healdsburg Unified School District to offer another free parenting workshop designed to support families in our community.

Life presents challenges for every family. This interactive class will help parents better understand resilience—what it is, why it matters, and how to foster it in both themselves and their children. Together, participants will explore the effects of stress and trauma while learning practical strategies for navigating life's challenges with confidence, hope, and strength.

Way to go, 5th graders! We are so proud of this incredible group of students who promoted to junior high today. They began their schooling on zoom, but have demonstrated their resilience through strong academics, leadership on campus and kindness with each other. We know they will do great things at HJH and beyond. 🐾

☀️ What an AMAZING last day of school at HES! ☀️

We kicked off the morning with an awesome talent show and were impressed by the diverse talents of our HES stars:

* 🤸‍♂️ Gymnasts, cheer routines & martial artists
* 🚲 Bike, soccer, & basketball tricks
* 🎹 Piano players & singers
* 🌀 Hula hoop tricks & dancers
* 🎤 …and we topped it all off with a special surprise song from the teachers to the students!

To wrap up the day, we held our traditional 2nd Grade End of Year March to send-off our oldest students to their next school. We are so proud of you, 2nd graders and we know you are going to continue to shine in 3rd grade and beyond at FMC.

Thank you to our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families for making this school year so wonderful.

This morning was *magical* as we celebrated our incredible Healdsburg Elementary School Kindergarteners at their promotion ceremony! 🎓✨

We are SO proud of every single one of you. From learning your letters and numbers to making new friends and discovering the world around you, you have grown and achieved so much this year.

We know you're going to bring your bright smiles, kind hearts, and big imaginations with you to 1st grade. Keep reaching for the stars, HES Class of 2038—we know you will continue to shine! 🌟❤️

We kicked off the final week of school with a day packed full of celebration and community spirit!

🏆 Trimester 3 Awards: We started our Monday morning by recognizing the amazing academic and social-emotional achievement and growth of our students. So proud of everyone's hard work!
🇺🇸 Flag Day Celebration: We also held our beautiful annual celebration, where our students showed off their community spirit through wonderful songs and dances.
🏃‍♂️ Field Day: In the afternoon, it was all about fun, games, and laughs under the sun!

Thank you to all for making the last Monday of the school year so memorable. But guess what? We aren't done yet! We still have more fun to come for the rest of the week! Stay tuned! 👀✨

FMC celebrated the last Friday of the school year with Field Day and a BBQ. Thanks to teachers and staff for organizing fun games and activities for students and our food service and maintenance team for the incredible lunch (served on a frisbee!).

FMC celebrated students at our 3rd trimester awards ceremony this morning. Students were recognized in many areas including excellence in academics, growth, persevering and having a growth mindset and being kind. It’s been a terrific year and we are so proud of all of our students! 🐾

Last night’s HES Open House was one for the books! It was so wonderful to see our hallways buzzing and our classrooms shining bright spotlighting the learning of our star students.

A major highlight was seeing our students showcase their Project-Based Learning (PBL) units—their creativity, hard work, and critical thinking were truly on display! 💡🎨

A huge **thank you** to our amazing teachers and staff for their hard work, and to our families for making this community so special. We are so proud of our HES students! 🐾❤️
