Annually we award scholarships to six deserving high school graduates in the amount of $2000 each. Our lodge area includes Healdsburg, Geyserville and Cloverdale. Additionally, these deserving graduates can receive a second award provided they meet the GPA requirements for their first year. In total we contribute up to $24,000 annually. Two of the scholarships are dedicated to graduates who attend trade schools. This year four graduates from Healdsburg High School received scholarships presented at the awards ceremony April 30th. Brother Skyler Osborne made the presentation on behalf of our lodge. Additional scholarships for Geyserville Tech and Cloverdale High School will be awarded at their ceremonies.

In Memoriam of our Brother Vernon Vincent Nichols, Jr. who passed this week. Vern regularly attended meetings and was always welcoming and friendly to all. He was 88 years old and 63 years as a Mason, most of which he was a member of our lodge. Brother Vern, you are in all our thoughts and you will be missed.

Welcome to our newest Brother, Anthony Guzman. WM Ron Cade arranged for a special traveling degree ceremony at Mt Jackson Lodge in Guerneville, Saturday the 19th of April. Brother Anthony was blindfolded and transported to the lodge. The ceremony was following by dinner at Northwood Lodge in Monte Rio.
