Join us for a fun and delicious kids cooking class at Alley 6 Distillery in Healdsburg! In this hands-on experience, young chefs will create a full meal from scratch, including hearty penne bolognese, a fresh strawberry salad, and sweet cheesecake parfaits.

Kids will learn basic cooking skills, practice teamwork, and build confidence in the kitchen—all while having a great time.

While the kids are cooking, parents are welcome to relax and enjoy the lounge at Alley 6 or use the time however they wish. It’s a perfect experience for both kids and parents to enjoy!

We’re excited to share our May schedule of fun, hands-on culinary and art classes for kids! Each class is designed for ages 4–11 and filled with creativity, learning, and plenty of fun.

Sunday, May 3rd – Giorgi Park
MESS FEST ARTIST SERIES: Tie Dye & Slime Party
Time: 10:00–12:00
Cost: $50

Join us at the park for a colorful, creative morning! Kids will design their own tie-dye t-shirt (plus bring an extra item to dye!) and make slime to take home. We’ll also enjoy a bonus messy craft and bubble play—perfect for kids who love to get a little messy!

A fun, outdoor cooking adventure! Kids will make campfire baked beans, grilled hot dog skewers, and s’more bars. Parents are welcome to relax riverside—bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful setting.

Join us for a fresh and seasonal cooking experience at Preston Farm and Winery! In this hands-on class, kids will cook with locally grown produce picked from Preston Farms that very day, bringing farm-to-table learning to life.

Young chefs will create a delicious menu featuring a creamy spring pasta, bacon-wrapped asparagus, and a rich chocolate mousse topped with fresh berries.

While the kids are cooking, parents are welcome to stay and enjoy the winery, stroll the beautiful grounds, enjoy a glass of wine, or use the time however they wish.

This class is a wonderful opportunity for kids to connect with where their food comes from while building confidence and creativity in the kitchen.

We’re excited to invite your kids to our Culinary & Art Easter Workshop, a fun and hands-on event where kids will celebrate the season of chicks and eggs through cooking, art, and festive activities.

During this playful workshop, kids will:

Make adorable chick cupcakes

Prepare CHICKpea hummus with homemade tortilla chips

Create a chicken painting and other chick and egg–themed art projects

Enjoy an Easter egg hunt

Play fun group games

Mother’s Day Brunch Class at Dragonfly Floral

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a sweet and memorable cooking experience. Kids will make heart-shaped waffles with fresh whipped cream, a fun color-changing mama mocktail, and classic deviled eggs with a creamy, seasoned filling and elegant garnish.

Southern Fried Chicken and Biscuits (Master Class)

Designed for kids ages 9–17, this hands-on class is perfect for young cooks ready to build their skills. Students will make fluffy homemade biscuits, crispy fried chicken bites, and savory gravy from scratch while learning essential kitchen techniques and building confidence in the kitchen.

Artist Series at Quivira Winery

In this creative class, kids will sketch and paint a portrait of Winston the pig and explore the farm for inspiration to create spring-inspired artwork.

We’re excited to offer a new Kids Master Class coming up at Quivira Winery!

Southern Fried Chicken & Biscuits is a hands-on cooking class designed for kids ages 9–17 who are ready to build their skills and try more advanced recipes.

During this class, students will make:

Fluffy homemade biscuits

Crispy fried chicken bites

Rich, savory gravy from scratch

Along the way, kids will practice important kitchen techniques such as measuring, mixing, seasoning, and working as a team while building confidence and independence in the kitchen. We’ll also talk about what makes these classic comfort foods so delicious.
