He was an 1964 graduate of Hazleton High School. James received two bachelor’s degrees from Penn State University in 1968.

Updated event post from Shawn: To the Bishop Hafey Class of 94, there is an ammendment to our reunion weekend. The only change to weekend is instead of meeting at Genetti's on Saturday night, we will meet at Brass Buckle at the same time. Also, the cost has changed to 25 dollars a head instead of 50. For those of who paid, no worries. You will be refunded. We will just have to pay that night when or close to when we finish. Try and bring cash instead of check if possible. This will be easier as we need to touch fifty to pay for the night. If we don't by the Thursday before then it gets a little sketchy. Being that it'll be a little cheaper and no advanced payment, should make it easier. Message me to make sure everyone is on board with the changes. Still meeting at Cusat's Friday night, free drafts and cash bar. I am just looking forward to spending time with everyone. Also, could anyone tell me if Amanda Gadola is aware of this weekend and anyone else we have in our class. Please try and beat the bushes. Let me know of anything else you may have questions on. I was hoping for a community project but just being unsure of who will be in has made it difficult. So maybe we could collect some money and donate it to a charity or split it amongst charities. Also, there is also a local time and 10 k Saturday morning I am going to do. Let me know if you would like to. I would love to be involved in a race with my classmates. I can't wait for the weekend. Finding numbers has been difficult.... Need Josh, Tom Kennedy, Erik Bronstein, Melissa Blahoski, Vanessa, Amanda, Fran, Joe Klocek, Tara Rohol, Jay Pienkowski, Erin Dempster, Dave Ashman, Regina Cannon, Jamie Rapach. Trying to send private messages but it's giving me a fit. So I will do this first. 20th reunion weekend of Oct 18th. Friday night meet and greet. Saturday community projects, Saturday night dinner and music. Then Sunday we could do a brunch then on our way. I am going to continue with the private message here tonight and tomorrow if need be. Hey Shawn et. al.: I was thinking about the location options for October 18th. While I love the idea of a pig roast, I wonder if it might be too complicated to organize - and given the winter we had, the weather might not be in our favor! If it ends up being a gorgeous weekend, we still have the option to gather outdoors during the day on Saturday (community service, hang out at a local park, etc.) but I wonder if we should look at restaurants where we could just reserve a private room, maybe pay for a buffet or something and let people pay for their own drinks, etc. I have a couple ideas for locations but it anyone else has a suggestion... (again, hoping we could keep it in Hazleton or the valley to keep it close to families who still reside there, etc.). Thoughts? ;)

This is it, guys... 20 YEARS! It's time we all get together. Get ready for some flashbacks as we plan this reunion. The date is up in the air at the moment. We're hoping to get as close 100% as possible.

Help us figure out who is not on Facebook and we may be missing.

Drinks Friday night. Some sort of Community Service project Saturday morning. The main reunion - a BYOB Pig Roast - on Saturday night and then breakfast Sunday morning.
