The library hosted local author Jack McCutcheon on Saturday to discuss and promote his book, "The Resurrection of Mil".

Mr. McCutcheon signed multiple copies of his book and gave our patrons a glimpse into the real life stories behind it, as well as his writing process.

A little practical magic has arrived at the Valley Branch library. Inspired by Alice Hoffman's beloved book and the movie it conjured to life, our "Practical Magic" display is filled with autumnal charm and just enough witchy wisdom to make you wonder what's brewing. Come have a look, borrow a book, and for our visitors young and old, keep your eyes peeled for objects hidden throughout the display for this year's Halloween I Spy.
