The Greater Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association held its annual Nittany Night on Tuesday, June 16, at Sand Springs Country Club. Alumni and guests welcomed Penn State baseball standout and MLB Draft pick Bryce Molinaro as the featured speaker for the evening.

At the event, the Greater Hazleton Chapter presented Penn State Hazleton with a $4,000 check representing proceeds from its annual golf tournament. The gift will support the Penn State Alumni Chapter of Greater Hazleton Scholarship and Penn State Alumni Chapter of Greater Hazleton Academic Award, which has made a tremendous impact by providing financial assistance to Penn State Hazleton students as they pursue their educational goals.
