Jostens will be at the school on Monday to meet with juniors about class rings and letterman jackets and meet with seniors about cap and gown orders. Yes, that's right senior parents. It's time to order your senior's cap and gown! Wow! Watch for the emails and make sure to get your order placed by the deadline. Caps and gowns will arrive during 2nd semester, but are ordered now. Each graduate needs a cap, gown, stole and tassel. A cap and gown from a previous graduate can be used, but those students will still need a stole and tassel. More info to come regarding the deadline, etc. Just putting this on your radar now. :-)

Good afternoon,
Due to the transition to Infinite Campus and other priority needs, we are unable to accept online sports fee payments at this time.
Please submit all activity and sports fee payments to the school office by Friday, August 28. Students who have not paid their required fees by that date will be ineligible to participate in any school-sponsored activities or events until their fees have been paid.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue learning and adapting to our new Infinite Campus system. We apologize for the change in direction and appreciate your cooperation.

Dear Parents and Families,

It’s that time to head back to school! Hazen Public Schools will host its Back-to-School Open House tonight, Tuesday, August 18, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for students and families to stop in, meet their teachers, become familiar with their classrooms, and get ready for the new school year. Please bring your school supplies with you so you can have everything ready for the first day.

There is no need to arrive at a specific time—come when you can between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.

We look forward to seeing everyone and getting the 2026–27 school year off to a great start!

If you are a high school student or parent and did not receive the text message sent this afternoon about CRACTC classes, that means your phone numbers aren't in the new messaging system. Please email [email protected] and give her your cell phone numbers and email address so you begin receiving messages from the school. We would like to have all student and parent cell phone numbers in the system, as well as parent email addresses.

Update: Most CRACTC teachers have not yet sent their class welcome emails yet due to complications with Infinite Campus at other schools. Therefore, CRACTC is telling us that students should have those emails by tomorrow morning sometime. Please don't worry if you haven't received your email yet. You won't be behind. Check your K12 AND school Gmail account by Wednesday at noon. If you don't have anything by then, please let Ms. Krause know and she'll look into it further. At the school, we have received teacher emails only from Kayla Koth and Michelle Hoff. Other teachers haven't sent class info yet.

If you are a student in an online CRACTC class, please check your school Gmail for an email from your teacher, which are supposed to be sent today or tomorrow. If you can't find the email in your Gmail, then check your K12. If you have nothing in your Gmail or K12 by noon tomorrow, please let the office know and Ms. Krause will look into it.
Yep, we know....it's a mess. Initially we told students to check their K12. Then CRACTC told us emails would be going to the Gmail, but we are noticing some are being sent to the K12. Sorry! With the switch to Infinite Campus every school in ND is going to have some flaws, mix-ups and hiccups. BUT, we will get it all figured out and have smooth sailing eventually. Please continue to be understanding, ask questions and let us know if something is confusing.
