For those of you who worked on and are riding the float, don’t forget your parade candy! Oh! And brush up on your Will Smith and Carlton dancing skills!!! Wear your class shirt if you have one, or wear your favorite 90s or neon apparel! I want to get a picture of you on the float after the ceremony before the parade begins! Can’t wait!!!

Anyone who wants to come help tomorrow can come to Greenpoint from 4:30-6. We will see how much we can knock out and go from there.

I grabbed some supplies after church today but need to get a couple more things after school tomorrow. I’ve got a to-do list to print for us all.

Haven’t had a chance to do a cardboard roundup. We are going to need quite a bit. I called Sutherlands hoping to find some big pieces, but they don’t have any right now. There are several broken down boxes at Will’s that we are welcome to use, which should be perfect! We just need to transport!

I’m sure it will be hit or miss with everyone’s work and practice schedules! It will all work out!

We will have a great (BUSY) week!

Today, we should get the approval to purchase some float supplies. We were hoping to get this sooner, but there is a process/timeline. One thing we can do in the meantime is gather some cardboard. Watch for a work schedule to be posted, and wear old clothes to work sessions.

Good morning! Our kids picked Roast the Bears (campfire-type theme) for their homecoming float. We will build it at Green Point during the week of homecoming again. Exact dates will be set later. Some things we need:

A trailer and truck to pull it
A large stuffed bear (in place of the player in the pic)
Maybe a few smaller stuffed bears with some “safe skewers” for roasting
A small popup tent
A couple of fake Christmas trees (I should have these covered)
Materials to build the campfire/roaster
Anything else you think might be appropriate.
Open to ideas and suggestions.

Hello, all! 8th graders will have the option to order a class shirt. Megan Stock is working on getting a mock up and ordering link ready. I will share that info as soon as I get it. Class shirt orders will be due next Friday, July 26th.
