Aviation careers can take many different paths, and hands-on experiences can help make those possibilities feel real.

FlightSafety's Long Beach Learning Center recently welcomed participants from Preflight Aviation Camp, giving campers a firsthand look at the people, technology and career opportunities behind the aviation industry.

The visit included a facility tour, hands-on demonstrations, and conversations with FlightSafety employees to learn more about a wide range of rewarding career paths in aviation.

Congratulations to the three recipients of this year’s FlightSafety International Oklahoma Aviation Scholarship: Calvin C. of Bartlesville High School, Mason C. of Pittsburg High School, and Wyatt W. of Piedmont High School.

The aerospace and defense industry is the second largest and fastest growing industry in Oklahoma. This scholarship supports Oklahoma high school graduates pursuing aviation-related education and training. As Calvin, Mason and Wyatt begin their freshman year this fall, we wish them the very best as they take the next step toward their aviation careers.

Applications are open for the Corporate Cabin Attendant Recurrent Training Scholarship from FlightSafety International and Women in Aviation International’s Westchester NY Chapter. This scholarship reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the future of business aviation through education, leadership and high-quality training.

One recipient will receive a full training seat in FlightSafety’s Corporate Cabin Attendant Recurrent Course, valid for one year at participating FlightSafety Learning Centers.

The course helps cabin attendants refresh critical skills, build confidence, and stay prepared to respond when it matters most.

Applications close August 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
