On April 10, upper level Spanish students from Hazelwood West High School visited "Maize and Wheat," a local family-owned Colombian restaurant. Students learned about how to make arepas, and a few of them even got to try their hand at making them. After that students enjoyed a lunch of delicious Colombian food, including huevos pericos, empanadas, and pollo guisado. They got to practice their Spanish and experience a new culture. ¡Viva Colombia!
