HAPPY SUNDAY, ARMSTRONG FAMILY! π¦
π
This is Dr. Kelly Kozlen, proud principal of Armstrong Elementary, checking in with your weekly Sunday message!
We have an exciting, fun-filled week ahead at Armstrong, and we hope you'll join us for some wonderful opportunities to connect, celebrate, and support our Eagles!
Here's a quick look at what's happening this week:

Friday, October 23: NO SCHOOL!
We are also looking forward to Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 28 and 29!
Parent-teacher conferences are one of the most valuable opportunities we have to strengthen the partnership between home and school. These conversations allow us to celebrate your child's growth, discuss academic progress, identify areas for improvement, and work together to ensure every child has the support needed to succeed. When families and educators work together, our children benefit! We encourage every family to schedule a conference and be an active partner in their child's education.
Conference Dates and Times:
Wednesday, October 28 | 4:00β7:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 29 | 8:30 a.m.β7:00 p.m.

π i-READY β 20 MINUTES CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Families, you can make a tremendous impact on your child's academic growth by encouraging just 20 minutes of reading or math practice at home!
Consistent practice helps students strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and become more independent learners. Encourage your child to read daily and complete assigned i-Ready lessons when available.
Small steps, practiced consistently, lead to BIG growth!
π€ NEED HELP? USE THE HSD PARENT SUPPORT PATHWAY
The Hazelwood School District's Parent Support Pathway is a helpful resource for families seeking answers, addressing concerns, or finding the appropriate support.
We encourage families to begin by contacting their child's teacher, counselor, or school administrator. If additional assistance is needed, the pathway outlines the next steps for connecting with district leadership.
We value open communication and want every family to feel heard, respected, and supported.
