RightStart Mathematics by Activities for Learning, Inc. RightStart Math gives children a solid understanding, mastery, and love for math! Place value is introduced early to solidify the childrenโ€™s understanding.

RightStartโ„ข Mathematics will help your child understand, apply and enjoy mathematics using games to learn concepts, strategies, and to practice math facts. This unique program uses visualization of quantities, de-emphasizes counting, and provides strategies (visual pictures) for learning the facts. The primary learning tool is the Cotter Abacus, a specially designed two-sided abacus that is kinesthetic and visual.

In Level G Lesson 113, students are asked to reflect and translate a number of shapes to reveal a surprise image. Most people would see a chair in the final image, but not Leah! She turned hers into a funny looking monster. (Or is it a chair...with teeth?)

At RightStart Math, we don't just play math games "for fun" (although fun is definitely part of it!) We play games because they give children an immediate opportunity to apply the math concepts they're learning.

How many different ways can you see the number 8?
