We’re now officially a week away from the opening of 2026 Varsity Football season. Our Vikings open at home against St. Clair.

Viking Day at Hazel Park High School is well underway. Freshmen started the morning and we'll end with our senior class later this afternoon.

Our Webster Early Childhood Center will host an Open House on Monday, Aug. 24, 2026 from 2 to 4 pm. Come meet our amazing staff and take part in a fun scavenger hunt as you tour the building.

It’s going to be a very busy day at HPS tomorrow!!! Along with Viking Day and Patriot Day, we have Kindergarten & Young 5s at all of our Elementary schools and it’s also our last day of Back-To-School registration.

After the first three days of football practice last week, day four meant it was time to put on the pads.

It’s GAME DAY Vikings!!!! Our Varsity Football team hosts Hamtramck in a scrimmage.

If you weren't able to make Volleyball tryouts there's one more chance to show our coaches what you have. Join us Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm in the aux gym at Hazel Park High School. A current physical must be on file in order to try out.

The first day of "Paint Your Own Parking Spot" is almost over with at Hazel Park High School.

Join us at our next Community Engagement Team meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at our Longfellow Community Center.

Our Hazel Park Dance Team wrapped up its camp last week with a performance in front of family and friends. These teams are ready for the season!!!!
