Next Steps has another new tutor joining our family!

Welcome Ms. Olivia!

Ms. Olivia is a certified special education teacher who currently teaches in an elementary mild- cognitive impairment classroom. This is her second year teaching. She also has years of experience in various educational capacities (title 1 tutor for 2nd grade students, program assistant for Judson Center’s summer program, caregiver, substitute paraprofessional and teacher, nanny, and has a brother with autism).

She will be open for evening tutoring sessions this summer as well as next school year and will be servicing Macomb, Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, Grosse Pointe, St. Clair Shores and surrounding areas!

Hi Friends! It’s been an eventful year. I started my first homeschool learning pod with a partner and it has been so successful! Still doing lots of tutoring as well.

With summer on its way, I wanted to post that we will have some availability for tutoring sessions with Ms. Victoria! These will be available in the Southfield, Royal Oak, Berkley, Bloomfield Hills area. If interested in setting something up, please send us a message and we will get it scheduled 🥳

Starting in September, Katie will be teaming up with Connections Learning Lab to start a homeschooling pod in Troy! This learning pod will run Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30-1:30, and have lots of hands on learning for our kiddos!

Spots are starting to fill and are limited! If you are interested in more information, please fill out our pod survey or message me for more information!

An open house is being planned (aiming for early August) and more information will be forthcoming! Please pass this info along to anyone who may be interested 😊

Often times, it is not a students favorite subject. Here are some helpful tips to help your student progress and move past those anxieties created by math! I love making everyday connections about math with my students and just seeing the light bulb go off 💡
