Open House was a success! Thank you to all of our families who came out today! It was so wonderful to see all of your smiling faces and watch everyone getting excited for the new school year.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our classrooms for a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of fun. Here’s to an amazing 2026–2027 school year! ❤️📚✏️

Open House for the 2026–2027 school year is Sunday, July 26, from 2:00–4:00 PM!

This is a come-and-go event for families enrolled for the upcoming school year. Stop by to meet your child’s teachers, see the classrooms, and drop off supplies!

A notary will be available during Open House to notarize your required affidavit.

If you’re still looking for childcare, there’s still time! Contact our office to check availability - we still have a few openings in most age groups!

Please be sure to check your Procare account for important updates and reminders leading up to the start of the school year. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Due to flooding at Hazel Green United Methodist Church and in surrounding areas, CEC will have a delayed opening on Monday, June 8. We will open at 9:00 AM.

The safety of our families and staff is our top priority, and we want to allow additional time for water levels to recede and for road conditions to improve.

Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe, and we will see you at 9:00 AM.

To our CEC Seniors - graduation week is finally here, and we could not be more proud of each of you! 🎓

No matter where life takes you next, know that you will always be part of the CEC family. We are so thankful we’ve had the opportunity to love, encourage, and cheer you on through this season of life.

As you step into your future endeavors, we pray you chase your dreams boldly, walk confidently in who you are, and never forget how capable and loved you truly are.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who make our CEC so special!

Every single day, they pour into these children with patience, love, creativity, and care. They show up - on the hard days and the good ones - and give their all in ways that often go unseen.

If you’ve ever wondered what makes CEC so special… it’s them!

They are the calm in the chaos, the biggest cheerleaders, the safe place, the teachers, the nurturers, and the reason so many little hearts feel loved and confident every day.

We say it all the time, but it’s worth saying again:

We are so thankful for each and every one of them!

She’s probably going to roll her eyes at me for posting about her… but I don’t care. 💁🏻‍♀️

I truly couldn’t do my job without my amazing teachers and staff, and I can’t let today go by without giving the biggest shoutout to Chelsea! She works so hard behind the scenes to keep everything running seamlessly at CEC.

A little story time—
I met Chelsea through youth sports, and I was immediately drawn to her - her personality, the way she supports the kids, her humor, her love, and her gentleness.

We were at a team BBQ one day, and at the time, I didn’t have anyone helping me in the office. So I walked right up to her and (boldly 😅) asked if she worked outside the home. When she said no, I told her I needed help and that I thought she would be perfect.

Best. Decision. Ever.

She is my right-hand girl. She just gets it. She knows what needs to be done and jumps in without ever being asked. She keeps me - and everyone else - on track. She sees the best in people and brings a calm, gentle presence into every situation.

We are all so blessed to call her ours!
And I’m extra lucky, because not only is she our amazing Office Administrator… she’s also my friend. 🤍

Happy Administrative Professionals Day, Chelsea! We love you! 💕

We surprised our kiddos with a special CEC “Adoption Day,” where they each got to choose their very own bunny or chick to take home!

Each bunny and chick was packaged up and sent home with their new owner, ready to be loved and cared for. They were so excited, and our older friends had the cutest names picked out for their new “pets.”

Their joy makes it all SO worth it! 🩷🐥🐰
