We are sure that many of you will recognize this familiar face! Mrs. Muller has returned to SW as a MS Special Ed. teacher this year.

Robyn currently lives in Dickeyville, but is originally from Shullsburg so you've probably seen her around. She graduated from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA.

Robyn stated, " It is pretty special to be back in the district where my teaching journey started. I'm so grateful to be back at SW and excited for this next chapter.❤️"

We are super excited to have Robyn back with us here at SW!

We had a couple of people come on to our staff in the middle of the year last year so we would like to do a formal introduction for them.

Makayla Rieken is a Paraprofessional in the Early Childhood room. She is originally from Mineral Point and now currently lives in Hazel Green.

Makayla stated, “Never would I have thought I would work at Southwestern School District, but it’s been such a positive experience. The people are fantastic to work with and it is a great place of education for my children. Happy to be a part of the Wildcat family!”

Thanks for making a difference at SW, Makayla!

LITTLE CATS CHEER CAMP is back!📣🤩👏⭐️

1. Camp will be held on Sunday, September 20 from 12-3pm at the High School.
2. The campers will learn a routine that will be performed the following Friday during halftime at the Southwestern homecoming football game, Sept. 25th.
3. Cost to attend is $30 and includes a t-shirt and snack. All money goes towards the Southwestern High School Cheerleading program.

5. The sign up form will close on Friday, September 11 @ 11:59pm.

Southwestern has a new full-time sub for the year: Mr. Ben Jaeger!

Ben will float where needed during the year, with the exception of the time Mrs. Kruser is out on maternity leave for 12 weeks.

Ben obtained a Bachelor degree in Secondary Education/History from Clarke University in his hometown, Dubuque Iowa.

Ben says he loves his family, his dog "Ginny", and the Chicago Bears! He stated, "If I’m not at school, I can most likely be found at a golf course!...and I look forward to meeting everyone."
