Our second grade friends and Mrs. Creech visited the office to show Mrs. Phipps and Ms. Kelly their chrysalis and butterfly craft. 🧡🖤🧡This interactive craft modeled what a chrysalis looks like and what the emerging butterfly looks like. Great job second grade!

❤️🖤🤍Last week the Lexington Children’s Theater was scheduled to perform at RRVE. A couple hours before their arrival, our PRI agent was contacted about the event needing to be rescheduled. To improve an unfortunate situation, the local Dairy Queen was contacted about sending ice cream for our students to enjoy during their recess. We love working with our community partners. Thank you, Dairy Queen for sending our students ice cream on short notice. 🍦 While the theater has already been working to reschedule with our school, it meant a lot to have a community partner do something special for our students to improve an unfortunate situation. ❤️🖤🤍

Our staff wanted to thank Mrs. Wanda Landsaw for the beautiful fall decoration she added to our campus. 🍂 We love having Mrs. Peanut as a volunteer at our school events. She loves our school and we love her. ❤️🖤🤍

📚 Attached are additional photos from the Nacho Average Literacy Night held at RRVE. We’re grateful for the volunteers who made this event successful. It is incredible to see the increase in participation that we are continuing to have during our after school school events. ❤️🖤🤍

Our Nacho Average Literacy Night was held at RRVE on Thursday. Students enjoyed literacy, crafting, math, and snack activities as they rotated stations that our staff members had planned. Thank you to our staff members who volunteered to stay. We continue to see a major increase in participation from the community. This activity doubled in participation compared to last year’s event. PRI, FRC, and STC did a wonderful job collaborating as they planned the event. Without the volunteers who ran stations, served food, or assisted with clean up, this event would not have happened.

Our students had a character dining experience at RRVE today. ❤️🖤🤍 While visitors like these typically visit classrooms, it was wonderful to let our students eat with princesses during lunch. This was an authentic moment of pure excitement for our students. It could not have worked out at a better time. Thank you to everyone who organized this event. Instructional time was protected and our students were ecstatic to spend so much time with their favorite Disney princesses. 👑 This was a magical experience.
