🚀 Introducing the Tom Cravens S.T.E.A.M. Impact Award! 🚀

For more than 25 years, Tom Cravens dedicated his career to inspiring students across Eastern Kentucky to explore, create, question, and dream bigger. Now, we’re proud to honor his legacy by launching an award in his name!

The Tom Cravens S.T.E.A.M. Impact Award will recognize Eastern Kentucky students whose experiences at the Challenger Learning Center of Kentucky have inspired their curiosity, shaped their educational goals, and influenced their future career aspirations.

🏆 Two annual awards will be presented:
🎓 $500 to one graduating high school senior or recent graduate
🔬 $100 to one middle school student

Applicants will submit an original essay reflecting on how their Challenger experience has impacted their lives. We want to hear how a mission, program, robotics experience, camp, field trip, or other CLCKY experience helped them see new possibilities for their future.

Applications open Spring 2027!

Help us celebrate Tom’s incredible legacy by sharing this announcement with students, families, educators, and communities throughout Eastern Kentucky. 💙

Join us as we partner with our friends at the Living Arts and Science Center for our FIRST takeover event! Meet FTC Team 8417 (The Lectric Legends), FTC Team 30696 (The Mad Hatters), FRC Team 3814 (PiBotics), and our FIRST LEGO League Coordinators. There will be crafts, STEM kits, robot demos, and more. This event is free to the community and we hope to see everyone there!

✨ Creativity came to life during our two-day 3D Printing Workshop at CLCKY! ✨
