Class of 72 all welcome

Dear Classmate,
Thank you for responding to let us know that you plan to attend the Class of 1972 “Way Past Due” Reunion on October 11th. We’ve received a lot of replies, so it should be a great event!
There are still some who have RSVP’d but have not sent their payment. We’re requesting your check to be sent in to firm up your commitment and enable us to meet expenses. Please send your check for $70/person to:

Your Committee has been working on making this the best reunion ever. Here is an update on what will be happening:

Friday Oct. 10th: CAMPUS TOUR
For those of you that would like to visit the HHS campus, the committee has set up plans for a tour. The tour will be led by students from the student council. We will be meeting at the Senior Patio at 2:45pm. If you are planning on attending, please contact Marilyn Rutz Levy @ [email protected]. There will also be a football game that evening, Hayward High vs. Piedmont at the Sunset field @ 7pm.

Saturday Oct. 11th: REUNION DINNER
Reunion check in will be from 5:30 to 6:30. We plan to start dinner by 7:00. We will have a professional photographer who will be donating her services. There will be a photo prop area and accessories to capture the evening. We will be setting up a Memorial Board listing those classmates who are no longer with us. (If you know of anyone we should include, please send names to [email protected].) There will also be a Memorabilia table set up to take us back to those “good ole days”. If you have something you would like to share, please make arrangements with Denise LaVerne Thosen @ [email protected]. There will be more “Surprises” throughout the evening.

Sunday Oct 12th: REUNION PICNIC
A Picnic Pot Luck is planned for 11:00 AM at East Avenue Park for anyone in the area or staying over. Bring something to grill and drink, and a dish to share: A-H Appetizer, I-P Salad, Q-Z Dessert.
Friends and family are invited. Betty Peacock Flores will be heading up the Picnic. Please contact Betty @ [email protected] if you would like to help or have any ideas.
