Full-Time | 10-Month School Year Position | Hayward, WI Area

Do you love supporting families and helping little ones grow?

The LCO FACE Program is looking for a Family Enrichment Advocate to join our team and help families be their child’s first and best teachers ❤️

What you’ll do:
- Connect with families through home visits and build real relationships
- Support child development by sharing info and activities for social, emotional, language, and motor skills
- Empower parents as their child’s first teachers
- Plan fun, learning activities for families to do together
- Observe & celebrate children’s growth and share results with families
- Team up with school and community staff to support each family

What we’re looking for:
- Preferably a Associates Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood, Social Work, or related field. Will consider other education + experience.
- Great communicator — comfortable working with both adults and children
- Valid driver’s license for home visits and meetings
- Knowledge of child development and community resources
- Supportive of LCO Ojibwe School’s philosophy and community
- Tribal member / Native American preference in employment. Experience working with Native students preferred.

FACE is a family literacy program that supports the goals of the entire family—both children and adults. Young children don’t have to begin their school experience on their own. Their parent or caregiver is right there to help ease them into their learning journey while also modeling the importance of education and working toward their own personal, family, or educational goals.

Ms. Liz makes learning active, joyful, and fun while helping children ages 3–5 build confidence, friendships, and kindergarten-readiness skills through hands-on learning and play.

Welcome to our page! We appreciate you dropping by.

We are a Family and Child Education program and have 3 components. They are as follows...

Family Enrichment Services (homevisiting)
- Bi-weekly visits focused on 3 domains (parent child interaction, development centered parenting, and family well-being)
- we service families who are prenatal to child(ren) up to age 5.

Pre-Kindergarten (center base)
- Monday through Friday 8 am to 2 pm
- children ages 3 to 5

Adult Education
- help with Education goals (GED, College, etc)
- cultural education/teachings
- parenting help
