Weekends in the Bay Area are a great time to explore hiking trails.

The new six-mile Skyline Watershed Ridge Trail opened last week near Redwood City (just a half hour drive across the Bay from Hayward).

The public access trails through the protected peninsula watershed are open to hikers 🥾 , bikers 🚴 and equestrians 🐴

There is a small parking lot and street parking available near the trail entrance. Before you visit, download a free online permit (valid for the calendar year and covers groups of up to six people) from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Website.

It’s national dog day so when we saw Destine, an Academic Advisor in the EXCEL program, with her adorable rescue dog Stella on campus today we had to get their picture

Many students and staff bring pets and service dogs to enjoy the many parklike areas of our campus.

On Thursday CSUEB University Housing Recreation & Wellness Services CSUEB University Union Student Leadership and Involvement Center and Residence Hall Association hosted the Pioneer Street Fair outside our student housing to kick off the academic year with a fun celebration full of games, music, food, and campus spirit.
