The goal of the Chabot College Healthy Aging and Movement Project (CHAMP) is dedicated to the overall fitness, health, and well-being of the Chabot Community.
This proven exercise program is free of charge to members of the community interested in losing body fat, improving muscle tone while developing new found strength and confidence through a scientifically designed training program.
How Do I Join?
Apply to Chabot College online or visit building 700 on the Chabot College campus.
Enroll in HEAG50 FN50
Get a student ID card at Online Services
Go to the start of any fitness class in building 4000, dressed in workout clothes, bring your student ID and a small towel for a 1-hour orientation. Once an Orientation is complete you now can use the Chabot Fitness Center whenever it is open.

We note with sadness the passing of our former wrestling coach, Robert Thomsen. Coach Thomsen was hired in 1962 as our first wrestling coach here at Chabot, he was best known for his Fitness classes and was a member of Chabot Colleges Athletic Hall of Fame. He was retired in 2005. He was 92 years young.
Please join me in extending our condolences to his family and much appreciation for his work at Chabot. At this time, we do not have details yet on the memorial services but have requested the information and as soon as we have received it, we will send it out to our Chabot community.

The Chabot College Fitness Center will re-open for the Fall of 2022 on August 17th with flexible workout times. Once you are registered for a class in the fitness center you can workout whenever it is open
The Chabot College Fitness Center offers top of the line weight training equipment, ellipticals, spin bikes and treadmills. This equipment is arranged in a scientifically designed HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) circuit system.
