East Bay Student Nurses Association California State University, East Bay Nursing Program's Official Nursing Student Organization.

The East Bay Student Nurses Association (EBSNA) is a constituent of the California Nursing Students' Association (CNSA) and the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA). We are an organization dedicated to providing opportunities to our Nursing Program students through community & volunteer outreach, professional conference attendance, job or new graduate seeking opportunities, and diversity/in

clusiveness education! EBSNA is the older sibling organization to the Cal State East Bay Pre-Nursing Club (PNC) and we work closely on mentorship, guidance, and joint projects with one another.

Cheers to good food, fun vibes, and plenty of homemade dishes for this year’s CSUEB NURSING Fall picnic! All three of our cohorts came together to share our favorite recipes, enjoy the fall weather, and make some memories outside of the classroom. 🍽️🍗🍁

And we definitely came prepared with more MEALLLSSSS this time around 😛.

Last Tuesday, we had the pleasure of attending a talk with ICU Nurse Sandeep Pokharel 🩺✨ He shared real and valuable advice on what it’s like transitioning into practice that covered how burnout can show up early, ways to manage stress and workload, and the importance of setting boundaries to sustain a long-term nursing career. He also dove into being financially smart as a new grad, from budgeting and student loans to understanding your paycheck, benefits, and avoiding common mistakes.
