This past Friday, our wird room was filled with the beautiful recitation of Qur’an during Northstar’s Annual Quran Competition. Students stood with confidence, reciting the words of Allah with sincerity, discipline, and love for His Book.

These moments don’t happen by accident. They are nurtured every day through teachers, classrooms, and a community committed to raising children who know and love the Quran.

Each class at Northstar decorated their door to celebrate the beauty, reflection, and joy of this blessed month. From crescents and lanterns to reminders of kindness and gratitude, every door tells a story.

Ramadan is also a time to nurture hearts, strengthen our community, and invest in the next generation. We are so grateful for a school where our children can grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

As the blessed month begins, we pray it brings peace to your homes, light to your hearts, and barakah to your time together. Ramadan is more than a time of fasting, it is a season of reflection, patience, generosity, and strengthening our connection with Allah and with one another.

At Northstar School, we are reminded that our school is not just a place of learning, but a community built on faith, kindness, and shared purpose. Every prayer learned, every ayah memorized, every act of good character we nurture in our children is a seed planted for the future and Ramadan helps those seeds grow.

May this month fill our students with confidence in their identity, compassion for others, and love for their deen. May our families feel the comfort of togetherness, and may our community continue to grow in unity and sincerity.

Last month, Northstar students joined peers across the country and beyond in the Great Kindness Challenge. It was heartwarming to see acts of kindness shine across every grade level and throughout our school community.

We extend our sincere thanks to our PTO for their continued support— from beautiful bulletin boards and kindness treats for students to a much-appreciated staff breakfast from JP's Restaruant.

Jazakum Allahu khairan to everyone who supported our annual Food Drive and student service projects, including care kits for the homeless assembled by our Pre-K students and the KG–2 craft sale benefiting charity. May these acts of kindness be accepted as sadaqah and grow into lifelong habits of service. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
