Cal Poly SWE is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 2026 Transfer Retreat for Community College Students in person at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. The Transfer Retreat is open to all community college students who are interested in engineering, so please feel free to share the sign-up link with friends and classmates.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11 AM to 4 PM on Cal Poly’s campus.
This event is designed to help you learn more about the different engineering majors offered—especially those at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive activities, hear directly from Cal Poly engineering clubs, and join a Q&A panel with current transfer students. Our goal is to give you insight into both engineering pathways and what it’s like to be a transfer student at Cal Poly. We’re excited to see you all soon!
Please RSVP by signing up here by March 30, 2026. Additional event details, including the exact location, will be sent closer to the event date.
If you are unable to make it on April 18th, have more questions, or want more information about Cal Poly, we have a Slack channel where you can get tips for success, hear more about transfer experiences, and meet new people.Â
Please do not hesitate to contact me or Cal Poly SWE’s Community College Outreach Chair, Katelyn Perez, with any questions or concerns.
