“The Voice of CSU East Bay” started in 2004, originally named the “Cal State Hayward Idol” Competition (a la American Idol). It started out to be a physical contest to get students more involved with campus life and homecoming festivities. This was created to “provide a platform for our diversely talented students to share their gifts.” In 2012 the competition was moved to YouTube. The Homecoming Committee felt this would make it more accessible for students to participate.

PIONEER PRIDE PEP RALLY
Cal State East Bay Athletics and ASI invite all members of the CSUEB community to join us this Thursday, Feb. 18, for the Pioneer Pride Pep Rally as part of Homecoming 2016!
When: 11:45 am - 12:15 pm
Where: In front of Pioneer Bookstore
Come out and show your RED & BLACK spirit prior to the baseball game vs. Fresno Pacific at 2pm!

Cal State East Bay's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has teamed up with the Alameda County Community Food Bank to launch a canned food drive, taking place all next week during Homecoming 2016.
Food inventory at ACCFB is at its lowest during the month of February. Pioneer Athletics invites you to help end food insecurity in Alameda County by bringing a canned item to the food drive outside Pioneer Bookstore on Wednesday, Feb. 17th from 1-3 PM.
