Normal hours are 6:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. Earlier hours available upon discussion, additional rates may apply. Rates are
$170/week infant until potty trained
$150/week potty trained
$40/day for drop in
I am contracted with DCF. My home daycare offers
*smoke free environment
*fenced in yard(privacy fence)
*front door/yard video security
*gtube experience both bolus & pump(my daughter is a gtube grad)
*years of experience with various learning & developmental disabilities and delays.

*We have 1 small dog(part Dachshund/Jack Russel) and a cat that stays downstairs. If you have allergy concerns

*I'm located in Haysville off Grand between Seneca and Broadway.

*The number of openings varies pending children enrolled in each age group. Current Openings by age:
Infant-18mo: 0
18mo-4yr: tentatively July 25
5yrs+: 1

Wait list: Please let me know if you would like to be put on the wait list. We can do a phone or in person interview to determine age, timeline etc. Learning: I strive to make your child's time with me fun. Yes we want them to learn but not at the expense of losing their childhood to work sheets. To do this I encourage learning through play which includes games, occasional crafts, songs, color/shape/number hunts, stories and discussions to make learning time fun!!! We also work on ABC's(recognition/writing) and so much more!!! DAILY ROUTINE

8:00 Breakfast

8:30-10:00 Free play(outside, weather permitting)

10:00-11:00 learning time, coloring, puzzles etc

11:00 Pick up for lunch(children will then do small activities(puzzles etc) at the table or watch cartoons while I prepare lunch to ensure safety and keep them in sight.

11:30 Lunch (I am enrolled in a CACFP food program and offer nutritious meals/snacks.)

12:00 Nap

3:00 Snack and free play

Info about myself and my family:
My name is Channah I am 38. My childcare days started early, in addition to helping with my cousins, siblings and other babysitting jobs, I volunteered when I was 14 for a summer at a childcare center in Old Town. In 2003 I began working for La Petite Academy for around 6 months before they shut down the location I was at. I worked at Arby's almost 3 years as a crew member and shift manager. From 2005 to 2007 I was a nanny for a family of 4 till they moved. I married in February 2007. I then worked at Ashley's House Learning Center from Sept 2007- Dec 2007, when our son (who was 3 months at the time) became ill with bronchitis, pneumonia and RSV. His Dr suggested I keep him home before he ended up in the hospital, luckily he never got that bad. Before starting my home daycare I took a few classes online to get a job working from home in medical transcription but decided it just wasn't for me. My true passion in life is working with kids. I received my daycare license Aug. 22, 2008. Which brings us to now. My husband and I have 3 amazing yet ornery kids.

~Braelyn(July '12) Braelyn has Noonan Syndrome and had a few medical complications in the beginning requiring a gastric feeding tube(which she no longer has) as well as other developmental delays and leaning disabilities. She loves life, playing with her peers and has taught me a lot along the way!!!
~Mattis(March '18) Currently nonverbal with 2 genetic abnormalities which also cause learning delays. He attends preschool 3 days a week during the school year for therapy services. They are the light of our lives. Paxton was the reason I decided to do home daycare all those years ago and now I can't imagine doing anything else. I love being able to spend my day with children, watching them grow. I have always had a love for children and as a mother I am aware of the trust parents place in me. I treat these children as if they were my own and give them the love and attention they deserve. These children are our lives and they deserve the best.
