CHS Football Middle School Football Camp Reminder:

This camp is for incoming 7th and 8th grade football players at both Haysville Middle School - USD 261 and Haysville West Middle School - USD 261 and will take place from 6:00-8:00 PM at C**t Stadium on July 13th and 14th.

There is no cost for this camp, and a T-Shirt will be provided at the conclusion of the 2nd day.

Any additional information regarding this camp can be provided by respective Middle School Coaches.

Today we ran a timed mile, did cricuts in the main gym, wall touches and free activities.
These kids are absolutely killing it.

ATTENTION CALENDAR CHANGE

HWMS 8th Grade Gorilla Parents:

Due to the potential of severe weather, the 8th grade promotional parade has been rescheduled for tomorrow May 19th at 7pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you all tomorrow.

The Silverback Singers had an incredible showing at the Heartland Music Festival at Frontier City this year on Saturday, April 25th.

They earned the highest possible score (a I rating) from both judges! On top of that, the tenor and bass sections received Outstanding Section medals, and the Silverbacks were named Best Overall Choir out of 14 choirs competing that day!

Yesterday, the Gorilla Track team competed in the Patriot League meet held at Campus C**t Stadium. The weather was beautiful, and we had some very impressive performances by our Gorilla athletes.

We had SIX LEAGUE CHAMPIONS: 7th grader Jacob Cruce in the 100, 200, 400 and was a member of the League Champion Medley Relay team with Silas Hendrickson, Levi Cooper and Jay’Shawn Keith. The Medley Relay team also beat the previous school record running a new school record of: 1:54.77. Jacob Cruce also beat the old school record for the 400m dash setting the new record at 57.45. 7th grader Levi Cooper won the 1600m race and 7th grader J’Zire Diaz won the 200m Dash.
