🏈Fall Homecoming Week is here at Campus High School - USD 261!

Campus is celebrating Night at the Museum with a full week of spirit, traditions, and Homecoming activities, including the parade, game, coronation, and dance.

As families plan for Friday, September 25, please note the following early dismissal times across the district:

- Tri-City Day School: 12:20 p.m.
- Haysville High School: 12:20 p.m.
- Haysville West Middle School & Haysville Middle School: 12:25 p.m.
- Campus High School: 12:40 p.m.

The Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Grand Avenue, followed by the Homecoming Game at 7:00 p.m. at C**ts Stadium. Coronation will take place at halftime.

We hope our families and community will join us in celebrating Homecoming and showing their C**t pride!

🏗️ Capital Improvement Update | September 18, 2026

Work continues across USD 261 as several bond-funded projects move forward.

At Campus High School, crews are making progress on utility infrastructure for the Plagens Carpenter project, while auditorium plans continue to be finalized. Roofing work on Buildings B and C is expected to begin in late November or early December.

At Freeman Elementary, most roofing work is complete, with crews finishing gutters and sheet metal. Work also continues on the new walkway, including framing, concrete, and waterproofing. The walkway remains on track for completion by the end of 2026.

At Nelson Elementary, work continues on the gym flooring and will soon move into the library. Gas line installation is also approximately halfway complete.

Roofing at Oatville Elementary is expected to begin around September 28. The project will use a cold-applied material designed to produce minimal odor, with adhesive and sealant work near building corners scheduled outside of school hours when possible.

Planning is also moving forward on elementary interior renovations, including new flooring, restroom improvements, and wall tile work.

We appreciate our students, staff, families, and community for their patience as these improvements continue to take shape across the district.

Happy Constitution Day!

Today we recognize the signing of the U.S. Constitution and celebrate the principles that help shape our nation, and today some students did just that!

PRE-K students at Freeman Elementary - USD 261 celebrated the signing of the United States Constitution by signing their own Social Contract! They talked about fairness, classroom rules, sharing, taking turns, and working together. They learned why families, classrooms, and communities have rules to keep everyone safe & happy. They learned what it means to be a part of a classroom community and how everyone has a voice & a role to play.

A properly fitted backpack can help students stay comfortable and ready to learn. Remind your student to wear both straps, keep their backpack organized, and carry only what they need.
