Tomorrow is Volunteer Experience Day. Our students will be going to Tanganyika, the Salvation Army, the American Legion, or the Bus Barn from 8am-11:30am. Some of our students will be staying at HHS. Your student was given their assignment today.

Please note:

HHS partners with nonprofit organizations in the greater Wichita area by volunteering for service projects. Each fall and spring, the staff and students of HHS devote up to four hours of their time to volunteer service projects. Students who are absent from school on designated Volunteer Experience Days are required to volunteer four hours outside of school at an approved, local nonprofit organization for each day absent. Completion of volunteer experience is required to continue enrollment at HHS,
(Haysville High School Student Handbook, page 21).

Students who are leaving our building MUST wear closed toed shoes.

First day of school is Wednesday, August 12th; however, your student and you only need to attend one of the orientation times on Wednesday. Call Sandi or Connie at 316-554-2231 if you have not scheduled one yet. Students will get their ids, lockers, and schedules at orientation.
