Thank you to the Resurrection Lutheran Church, Vicki Nunn, to Buffalo Wild Wings, to teacher Ms Lam, and to Staff Sergeant Corey Stokes for donating food for our senior graduation rehearsal brunch. And a big thanks to Marcia Craft for sewing and donating 15 quilts for our prize drawing.

SENIOR DAY 2026
(Friday, May 15th, 2026)

Seniors are required to attend graduation practice in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students are required to ride on the school bus from HHS to our graduation site for rehearsal on this day and to ride the bus on the way back. Students are responsible for their own transportation on Graduation Day. (Sorry, no guests are allowed for Senior Day.)

7:40-8:15am Senior Graduation Meeting at HHS in Gym. Graduates will turn in their Chromebooks if they have not already done so. Chromebooks must be turned in to participate in graduation. Group pictures will be taken, bring your cap and gown.

8:15-8:30am Bus leaves HHS to travel to the rehearsal site.

8:30-10:00am Rehearsal & Senior Panoramic Picture; Go over agenda for graduation. Hand out note cards for reflection. What is the most important thing you learned in high school? What do you plan to do next?

10:00-10:15am Load buses to return to HHS for a Special Event/Lunch.

10:30-11:30am Graduation Celebration Lunch & Special Event.

11:30am Students released for the day!
*All obligations including financial, detention, and academic work must be satisfied by the established deadlines in order to be eligible to participate in Senior Day and Graduation.

Awards night was a blast. Our Students of the Year are Paisley Emberson and Kaysen McIntosh. Below are a few of our award winners.

Thursday May 14th is Seniors' last day and is a seminar day. Friday May 15th, only Graduating Seniors and Graduating Juniors will come to school. Tuesday May 19th is all other students' last day. Those students will dismiss at 10:40am. The bus will run at 10:40am. The bell schedule is below.

Parent/Teacher conferences are Monday Feb 9th 3:15 - 7:15pm and Wednesday Feb 11th 3:15 - 7:15pm. Please contact your student's IPS by email or call the school at 316-554-2231 to schedule your conference.
Due to conferences, there will be no school Thursday Feb 12th and Friday Feb 13th. Wednesday Feb 11th will be a seminar day.
There is also no school Monday Feb 16th for President's Day.
