New Fort Hays State freshmen heard from her this morning and will again when she reads their names during graduation.

Brenda Meder hosted the welcome weekend event this morning after students walked across Jellison Bridge and onto The Quad.

Brenda has been reading graduate names during commencement for over two decades. This Homecoming she will hear her own name as she accepts our Distinguished Service Award.

Thank you to Brenda for helping welcome our newest Tigers!

Registration for our annual FHSU Homecoming Golf Tournament is now open!

The tournament will take place on Thursday, October 1, at Smoky Hill Country Club. Registration is $175/person and includes your green fees, golf cart rental, donuts and coffee to kick off the morning, lunch, an FHSU souvenir, and entry into hole contests and prizes.

This tournament sells out fast every year, so register today!

It’s time to make plans for FHSU Homecoming!

Experience Fort Hays State traditions, our beloved parade, alumni celebrations, tailgating, and Tiger football from Thursday, October 1 – Saturday, October 3.

We look forward to welcoming several special reunion groups back to campus:

- The Class of 1966 – Celebrating 60 years!

- The Class of 1976 – Celebrating 50 years!

- All former football team members and support staff

- All past library staff and student employees

We’re excited to offer our 2025 and 2026 grads FREE admission to most Homecoming events this year to celebrate being a new member of the Tiger alumni family! If you are an alum from those classes, use the specified link in the comments for your event registration.

The Tigers cheered Sporting KC to a victory!

We had a wonderful night in Kansas City last week. The night ended perfectly by going on to the field for a group photo and then enjoying the postgame fireworks.
