This summer FHSU Music and Theatre students participated in the world premiere of a new musical, Prince Hat Underground, directed by Broadway veteran Trey Ellett. They performed alongside professionals and other area students in the creation of this exciting new work. Congratulations to Allie Straub and Holly Trullinger, students of Dr. Hayley Shoemaker, on being named semifinalists in the National Association of Teachers of Singing National Student Auditions! This July, they will compete in San Antonio, Texas, alongside outstanding singers representing all 13 U.S. NATS regions, as well as the Canadian and International regions.

Many in our community may have recently seen Allie on stage as the Witch and Holly as Jack’s Mother in our production of Into the Woods. We are proud to celebrate this exciting achievement and wish them both the very best as they prepare for the national semifinals. Brave, Allie and Holly!

Join us tonight for an evening of cabaret featuring musical theatre selections performed by our talented FHSU Music and Theatre students!

In addition to the performances, there will be refreshments and a silent auction with a variety of exciting items and experiences, including a Galaxy tablet and a private home concert performed by FHSU students.

This event will also help raise funds to support our students’ attendance at the Regional NATS Conference this fall, making your presence and support especially meaningful.

The flyer includes a QR code to pre-purchase tickets or receive access to the online livestream. Tickets may also be purchased at the door via cash, check, or Venmo. We hope to see you there!
