Shout out to our newest high school Monarchs as the freshmen were officially drafted into their Houses! Their future is so bright they should have worn shades for this photo.

Thank you everyone for a great week! The students, staff, families, and community were amazing as school got started. We are blessed to be a part of this incredible community.

What an exciting way to start the prep football season!

Thank you Monarchs for your positivity and energy today. Despite new polciies, schedules, and people, everyone settled in with reverance, smiles, and patience.

The student body and staff was blessed to begin the day with all-school Mass led by Fr. Luke Friess. In his homily, Father highlighted how God gives us opportunities every day to grow into the people He has created us to be. Following Mass, the senior class of 2027 joined Father in a Eucharistic processioni to the Grotto for a moment of prayer and reflection.

The procession then joined the rest of the student body in the gym for a few minutes of adoration and Benediction. The benediction hymns were uplifting and beautiful in our historic fieldhouse.

Student Council executives for both the JH and HS introduced themselves while the HS StuCo shared the theme and its meaning with the student body. Our theme for 2026-27 is Rooted. High school execs Hannah Rose, Logan Baalmann, Bria Windholz, and Sam Krannawitter explained that our school is rooted in tradition, integrity, and in Christ.

Thank you students and staff for a wonderful first day. What an amazing way to start a school year!

Who's excited to drive on a smooth parking lot this week? For sure, many Monarchs are.

Recently, the very bumpy south parking lot in front of the main school building was overlayed with fresh asphalt. Many thanks goes to Kenny and Lacey Sweeney and Sweeney's Pavement Maintenance as well as Ron and Lila Nelson whose generous donations of time, talent and treasure allowed the school to resurface a very worn and potholed lot.

The millings from the south parking lot project were put to good use in leveling out the student parking lot. Many thanks goes to Darrel Dreher, Kenny Sweeney, Tripp Tetuan, Twynn Tetuan, Jhett Sweeney, Silas Hartman, Charlie Hartman, Max Hartman, and Lance Hartman who worked in 110-degree weather on their weekend to upgrade the student lot.

Thank you TMP-Marian maintenance Steve Werth, Tom Kisner, and Sheldon Werth who helped put it all back together!
