‼️Calling all young artists!‼️

🎄It’s time for our 2025 Christmas Card Contest!
Students across Wilkes County have the chance to share their holiday creativity and design the district’s official Christmas card. 🎄
🏆Winners will be selected from Elementary, Middle, and High School categories.
📋Contest rules are on the entry form.
📅All entries are due by Friday, November 7th.
The contest is open to all Wilkes County Schools students.
Students wishing to submit an entry may do so by:
🥳Uploading their design using the Christmas Card Form
🥳Or submitting in person central services with an attached form (see p. 2 below).
🎄We can’t wait to see your festive designs!🎄

The price will be $30 until December 31st, and then it will be $34 until March 25th.

First and foremost, we hope that you and your family are safe following this dangerous storm.

Wilkes County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Monday, September 30. This will allow us to assess conditions at our schools and in the community and determine when students can safely return.

Tomorrow will be an optional teacher workday. Employees who do not feel comfortable traveling should not do so. We will work closely with those who cannot safely return to work tomorrow.

We will share more information as we learn more moving forward.
