As the summer sun sets and the school year kicks into gear, we want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our amazing parents, kids, and community members who made these past few months so incredible. From line-filling coding classes to 3D-printed race cars and spin battles, your passion and energy made every single session pure magic. We hope all of our young innovators have an absolute blast heading back to school! 🎒📚✨

None of this summer's excitement would have been possible without our rockstar Program Director, Breckyn! As she prepares to head back to college, we want to give her the biggest thank you imaginable. Breckyn stepped up, organized countless brand-new sessions, brought endless energy to the lab, and inspired so many young minds to fall in love with STEM.

🚨 HALF FULL IN JUST 24 HOURS! 🚨

You all do not play around! After just one day of signups, both of our final summer 3D printing sessions are already HALF FULL!

If you've been waiting to get your kids registered, this is your sign to grab those spots before they vanish completely. Remember, these are our FINAL classes of the summer!

Here is your reminder on when and what we are running:

🏎️ Tiny Racers (Ages 5–7)

When: Thursday, August 6th | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

What: Kids design, 3D print, color, and race their very own mini race cars!

🌀 Spin Masters (Ages 8+)

When: Friday, August 7th | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

What: Students 3D print custom spinning tops, explore physics, and battle for top spinner bragging rights!

(Friendly reminder: These cover the same material as our earlier July sessions, so please leave spots open for new kids if your child already attended!)

We are incredibly grateful to Western Cooperative Electric Assn., Inc. for awarding STEM Harvest a Sharing Success Community Grant! ⚡️

Their support for the Hays Community Radar Project moves us even closer to our ultimate goal: eliminating the Western Kansas weather gap! With this funding, we are making real progress toward installing a new Doppler radar system that will provide vital, real-time weather data to keep our communities, schools, agricultural producers, and first responders safe. 📡🌾

Due to overwhelming popular demand, we are running back TWO of our absolute favorite, fastest-selling sessions to close out the season with a bang! 🚀🏎️🌀

🌀 Spin Masters (Ages 8+)
2 Hours • Limited to 16 Kids!
We are putting a spin on 3D printing! Students will design and print custom spinning tops, test out the physics behind them, and face off in the ultimate spin battle!

🚀 What an incredible day of engineering chaos at STEM Harvest!

Our young engineers brought their A-game to the lab for our Maker Mayhem class that includes custom kit-card catapults! They dove headfirst into 3D modeling, assembled their machines, and put them to the ultimate test with some epic launches... Some even made it across the room -- 35 feet 11 inches to be exact!!!

We truly believe that the absolute best learning happens when kids are having fun. Seeing them grasp the core STEM principles while laughing and sending things flying was an absolute blast! 🧠⚙️
