Another quilt landed under my needle today. This was a fun baby quilt that I modified and changed the size of the blocks since I had some cute pre-cuts. No clue where it’s going yet, but a good diversion from other things. The quilt back is the same fabrics as the arrows. I chose bubble b2b edge to edge design for the quilting with Glide Antique Gold for the thread. I think some young one may enjoy this quilt.

Under Denise’s needle today is a lovely quilt by Benny Lopez. It is made mostly with blue and pink batiks, with the circle frames done in two shades of grey. Benny chose Glide Silver thread and the pattern called fair and not so square. Benny also chose a grey canvas flannel called Tarnished by Deborah Edwards for Northcott fabrics for the backing. Benny did an excellent job on the wonderfully square quilt. It was a joy to longarm it. I think you’ll agree that this is a wonderful quilt.

Beginner and Confident Beginner Quilt classes. Classes will begin on Monday 9/28 or Tuesday 9/29./2026 at 2 Friends Quilting, 132 Main Street, Suite 2F, Brassworks, Route 9 Haydenville, MA
Monday 1:00-3:30 pm - SOLD OUT
Tuesday 9:30-12:00 am - 5 seats available
Tuesday 6:00-8:30 pm- 1 seat available
The class will be 8 weeks and with 2 weeks off November 9-10 and November 16-17 for vacation, and classes will resume on November 23-24 and finish on November 30-December 1st. Cost for the session is $200.00 Many patterns to choose from

Under Denise’s needle today JAWS! Made by Mary for her nephew who is a huge JAWS fan. Gotta love those prairie point teeth. Mary chose a simple wave pattern with a silver glide thread. I think you’ll agree this is a very fun quilt. Now to take the basting off the prairie points.

Under Denise’s needle today is a quilt made with Liberty Fabrics. Alana chose “Love Always, AM” Anna Maria lace fabric for the backing and a bamboo batting. She opted for a daisy pattern for the quilting with Glide Pink Lemonade thread. Love those Liberty and Anna Maria fabrics. Going to make someone a great quilt.

Under Denise’s needle today was a cute green and white quilt made by Jen. Jen chose a hearts and loops pattern, Quilter’s Dream 80/20 batting, and Glide cream thread and a white crackle backing. Jen made up her own pattern using some of the techniques she learned in classes. I’m sure someone will be a happy recipient of this quilt.
