Amazing first marathon for Paige and Kristen! Honolulu weather was challenging but these two ladies smashed it! Congratulations! Following their training plans helped them cross the finish line in great time.

Congrats to these two athletes who raced this past weekend! Tanner finished the IRONMAN Louisville 70.3, his first long distance triathlon. Kristen continues her journey with another fabulous half marathon finish in her home town of Anchorage.

Josh and Ryan have been working hard this year to improve and it shows! This is Ryan's second 70.3 this season and he continues to race well. He still has an IRONMAN and another 70.3 race to finish out the season. Josh will continue to train for shorter distance triathlons, but will be adding lots of running miles for an upcoming marathon! Great work fellas!

Great and challenging opportunity!

My team, Agony of DaFeet, Coeur d’Alene Multisport Runners, is running in the Northwest Passage Ragnar next weekend. We just had a last minute cancellation and really need a runner to join us.

This is an amazing event close to home. It runs from Blaine, Washington to Widbey Island. Each runner participates in three legs of running. The van members ar top notch! They are fun and happy people who would love to have you along.

We are renting a vans in Spokane so travel to and from, and the entry fee is free. The only charge is a room in Blaine pre run and a room in Mulketeo after we finish and food.

Please IM me, Nancy Lowery, if you are interested. The three legs are: Leg 7- 7.4 miles Leg 19- 5.6 miles Leg 31- 6.3 miles

Great race weekend for these CDA Multisport athletes! Kimberlee took 2nd place in her age group at the Race the Wolf Five Miler. Sean rocked the swim and completed his first IM 70.3. Ryan crushed his last year's finish time by 2 hours and 40 minutes by finishing just over 6 hours. Kady completed her first 70.3 and said afterwards, "I cannot thank you enough! My body feels great right now considering what it just went through. I felt so prepared and calm all race knowing I got to rely on all my training." Natalie ran the Race the Wolf Half Marathon and finished in 2 hours and 43 minutes.

I love coaching and seeing all of the amazing accomplishments of these athletes!

"I want to get faster" was the goal for this runner! Kristen picked it up this weekend in a 10k. Post race she once again placed her medal on her pup. He has a full stack of them over the years. Kristen says "Honestly, Koi is the real winner for watching me run out the door most mornings without him and patiently awaiting his turn to walk!"

Both Kristen and Koi are winners and champs!

Ongoing success story for Codi who just completed the Marine Corp Marathon on Sunday, with her brothers, in under 5 hours.

Codi is a dedicated athlete who is also training for a 70.3 in December. She trains consistently and races often. She always finishes with the biggest smile!

Epic day at IRONMAN California for five CDA Multisport coached athletes! Kimberlee, Josh, and Ryan all heard their names called as IRONMAN for the very first time! Each finished with hours remaining on the clock. Mike completed his 5th and “final” IRONMAN and Conan smashed his previous finish times.

The day was filled with cool fast water, windy and bumpy bike conditions, and various run surfaces in the dark. All took it on with a fervent enthusiasm and focus.

Congratulations to all!

The Joy of Losing Fitness: Why Endurance Athletes Need a Break 10/26/2024

On the eve of the last big race of the season for many of the alhletes I coach, this is an important time to read and understand how to move through the next few months. You and your coach can still work together to keep some fitness but with less rigors and structure to refresh your mind and body.

The Joy of Losing Fitness: Why Endurance Athletes Need a Break Endurance athletes may want to always push harder, but in the off-season, a true period of rest is key to success in the coming race season.

In the thick of race season! Kudos to Codi for a 33.6 mile total at her Ragnar Minnesota event! She picked up three extra legs stating that she thought it would be "better than sitting in the van all day!"

Also some PRs for Ian, Ryan and Aly in their Olympic distance triathlons!

Fun stuff to see the improvements and dedication of these athletes!
