🥔🎉 PERFECT ATTENDANCE POTATOES 🎉🥔

Our class dens are having a little friendly competition to see who can have perfect attendance each day! Each day a den has perfect attendance, they earn a piece for their very own Mr. Potato Head. Once their Potato Head is complete, there’s a special reward… a visit from Mr. Potato Head AND potato chips! 🥔🍟

Our FIRST den to complete their Potato Head was Mrs. Hallmark, Woody, and Trammell! 🎉👏

Mr. Potato Head stopped by today to celebrate their awesome accomplishment—and, of course, he brought potato chips to enjoy! 🥔😋

Way to go, Hallmark, Woody & Trammell! Keep up the great attendance, everyone! We can’t wait to see which den will be next! ⭐️🏆

Our First Grade students had a wonderful time learning about the amazing people who help make our community a better place! On Friday, September 25th, students traveled to Oneonta for a special Community Helpers field trip.

We visited the Blount County Courthouse and Blount County Board of Education, where students learned about government jobs and how elected officials help our community and schools. We also visited the Oneonta Police Station and Fire Department, where students learned how these community helpers keep us and our community safe.

We are so thankful to all of our community helpers for taking the time to teach our students about the important work they do each day! 💙❤️

Thank you for helping our first graders learn, explore, and connect with their community! 🌟

🌐💻 Internet Safety 💻🌐

This month in the library, our students are learning all about how to be safe on the internet! We’re talking about making smart choices online, protecting personal information, being kind, and knowing what to do if something online makes them uncomfortable.

We want to partner with our families to help keep our students safe online at school and at home. ❤️

Please take a few minutes to look over the attached flyer for some simple internet safety tips you can talk about with your child.

Together, we can help our students become smart, safe, and responsible digital citizens! 🌟
